Automation Flow Trigger Types¶
Automation triggers define when an automation flow starts. Each trigger type listens for a specific kind of event or condition—such as a contact entering a segment, being added to a list, a date being reached, an external event firing, or a webhook being received.
Contact Triggers¶
Contact Segment
Trigger when a contact enters or exits a segment.
Contact List
Trigger when a contact is added to a list.
Date Attribute
Trigger when a date in a contact attribute is reached.
Event Triggers¶
Event Fired
Trigger when an external tracked event is fired.
Webhook Received
Trigger when a webhook is received.
