Sender Settings¶
Sender Settings control the Sender IDs used for application-to-person (A2P) SMS in contact.center™. A Sender ID identifies the sender of a message and may appear as a brand name, a Toll-Free number, or a value assigned by the destination carrier.
Sender IDs must be approved before they become active. The approval confirms that the business and its messaging use case meet the requirements for the selected Sender ID type and destination countries.
After approval, use the Sender ID to send messages that match the approved business, destination countries, and messaging purpose. Requirements vary by Sender ID type and country.
